The tensions are high in this volume. The votes have begun and everyone is trying to determine who deserves to be on the chopping block while keeping some key roles for their survival in mind. The world building has progressively gotten better as we progress with each manga.

As the title would suggest there should be some DEATH; however, at the conclusion of this volume, there hasn’t been much (2 total). GIVE ME MORE

We finally reach the start of the first Main Game, and everyone's getting themselves into conflicts. This volume is closer to canon than the other two have been, but still strays far enough away to be considered its own story outright.

This volume lost a star from me because of the bonus scene where the characters are bathing to take a break. Considering most of the girls in Your Turn To Die are underage in both the UK and Japan (Sara is 17, Nao is 19 - legal age in Japan is 20, Reko is 23 and Kanna is 14) this scene makes for uncomfortable reading. Though, I have to admit, reading Hoemi/Miley yell "No same-sex hanky-panky on my watch!!" was amusing. Thank goodness it was only a few pages long lol.

Despite that, this manga was very good and I can't wait to see how the rest of the main game goes :)

This volume was relatively slow paced but maintained a good level of doubly layered tension—one from the secrets kept by the players, and another from the baseline of that particular death game where no matter what you do, 2+ people will die.
