I forgot how good this was. I mean, I knew it was darned good but I forgot the details and so therefore I forgot how good it really was. I think I might have taken this off my favourites list, so I'm going to put it back there.

For anyone wanting to read; the quality of writing is not the most fabulous if you're picky about that but the storytelling and characters and plot are generally fantastical so I highly recommend.

In my opinion the ending of this book let it down, but overall a good read. I'm not mad about it and will definitely finish the series

If you didn't like the first book, you won't like this one either. It has the same feel to it; the same pace. There is a little more action towards the end. I'm still intrigued by the world and the slating that the author has created so I will read the last one.

Looking forward to the final one of the trilogy.

This, quite frankly, broke me.
First of all, it was... unsettling to be in the mind of a girl is so mentally fragile while she is being manipulated so blatantly and slowly uncovering more and more of her own trauma,
caused by the same guy who manipulates her.

Also FUCK WHYYYYYYYYY
I LIKED CAM GOD IM GULLIBLE (but also how does one aquire such a job as a child) and Katran. Katran. . . Katran.

Also, this quote:
I cry for the little girl I was, who I can't even remember apart from the fact that she loved her dad.

First book wasn't a great hit for me, but couldn't slog through another few hundred pages of the same formula. Abandoned.

2nd book in the trilogy and It was so much better than the first one!

There was so many twists I was not expecting, there was so much to the plot I enjoyed. The characters are incredibly complex and complicated but also lovable.

I do like Kyla as a character, you can definitely see how torn she is throughout the book.

Overall I really enjoyed this book and made it through really fast

I'm very excited for the next and final book of the trilogy :)
