I adored this. I'm already familiar with Cassandra Jeans art style and I love it. It's gorgeous. And seeing my little peculiar children in her style was cool. I might get a tattoo of one of the pannels.
I've read the first book a few times and wanted to finally read the graphic novel for my reread through the series in preparation for book four A Map of Fates. It told the story sufficiently to where if I hadn't read the book already, it wouldn't be hard to follow the story.
Overall-
I am trash for this series and I am so glad I read this and have it in my collection. And since this is for the Booktube-a-Thon challenge of reading a book and then watching the adaptation, I'm excited to also finally see the movie for the first time later.

As expected, I loved this book. I have never read a graphic novel before but once I found out that this one existed, I knew I needed it. It was a nice review of what happen in Miss Pergrines and I hope a Hollows City one comes out soon
A surprisingly excellent adaptation. The vintage photographs are more successfully integrated than in the original, but sadly, the comic leaves less to the imagination (which made the original so creepy). Really looking forward to the next!
This was great new way to revisit the story. I loved how the graphics were only in colour for the Peculiars and not when Jacob was not believing in or with them. It did not have the same depth as the novel, but it captured it beautifully and the art matched the character description a whole lot more than the cast for the movie.
Amazing book it is just like the actual book! Has amazing pictures and I recommend this book to whoever likes graphic novels and the peculiar children series! I can not wait to read the 2nd graphic novel for Hollow City which is the second book in the peculiar children series! There is also going to be more books in the series can't wait to read those too!
I think the story lost part of the mystery in this graphic novel version. I haven't read the book but I've heard great things about it and I think I'd like to read it someday.

I’ve enjoyed this series many different times through many different formats and I still absolutely love it!
I do think I had an issue with the pacing of this one, if I didn’t already know the story I would be so confused. I also wasn’t a fan of the way some events didn’t happen.

Graphic: Death, Violence, Murder
Moderate: Gun violence, Blood, Grief, Fire/Fire injury, War
Minor: Animal death, Child death, Antisemitism, Abandonment
This is the first graphic novel that I've read and the format as a way of presenting the plot is interesting. I will still read the traditional book but this did pique my interest.
