Well at first, this book is strange, wonderful and captivating. The constant use of repetition and short sharp sentences makes this fresh and easy to read, although the vocabulary is intelligent and it often leaves you hanging at the end of chapters! The content is rather peculiar at first but as you get deeper into the heaps, you get engulfed by the whole World of the Iremongers.
The ending is gripping and makes you want more! Unfortunately, I didn't have the second installment, Foulsham, at hand when I finished Heap House and it is excruciating not to! I NEED TO READ MORE OF THIS STORY IMMEDIATELY!
