Over the last year, I’ve grown rather fond of cozy mysteries. Sometimes though, one stands out, and this is one of those times. I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway and it was a lucky win indeed. Shortly after I started reading it, I purchased the first book in the series as I immediately knew I would want to read more of Emily. I absolutely loved the quirky characters and the fun aspects of the story, but more than that, I was happy to find good writing and a solid mystery. If you’re looking for a little escapism and an imaginative storyline with characters you will genuinely like, then this one fits the bill. I will be looking for book three to be sure!
