It took me a bit to get into it, as I felt that the start was quite slow and information being withheld from the reader for an attempt at mystery which annoyed me a bit, but once the whole curse thing became clearer I did quite enjoy it

it was sort of slow to start for me and i wasnt really moved by the love story (although i love a bicon) but i thought the world building was really cool!

I finished it which is more than I can say for other books. 

I liked the writing style and the characters and the world but the story was so slow and kind of built to nothing. Also, I don’t understand why Penelope needed  to kill an every ever generation when it seems like the deal would have finished after one 🤷🏻‍♀️
