I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS!
Cora is a strong, fiercely independent, and hardened FMC. Silver, Miller, and Alex are the perfect men for her. They accept her for who she is and are madly obsessed, but also incredibly protective from start to end.
The tension, the suspense, the drama, and the spice were done so incredibly well!
Another hit for Luna!!!!

Cora’s journey to find and save her sick mother while being hunted by a crime boss is an intense month full of action and lust. Will she give into the crime boss and produce him an heir or will Silver, Alec, and Miller be able to save her? While this book can be read as a standalone, reading Untamed Vixen and Villain Era will give better insight and backstory to the characters. Overall, this book did NOT disappoint.
The plot to smut ratio is perfect in this book and the sex scenes are spicy and fiery. I love the depth and connection I felt between Cora and her three men. Their relationships are beautiful and unique. Having read the Sinners and Angels universe, I had back story on the characters but it could seem like being roughly thrown in and confusing to have not. The main storyline ended so abruptly and was a little lackluster and felt rushed. But that didn’t take away from the love I have for this book.
Overall, i absolutely loved this book. The emotional healing that came through reading this was intense. I hope we can get more from Cora and her men and how their story progresses but I cannot wait for London’s story!

She does it again. Luna Pierce delivers with this book. I didn’t think I could love this universe more than I already did but boy was I wrong. This book starts off with a bang and it continues from there. I really enjoyed getting to see characters from the previous books in this one. I am so happy that Cora got her story and her men. I loved getting to know this batch of characters. I had the hardest time putting this book down. So if you’re ready for a wild ride this is the book for you.
It is a standalone so you don’t have to read the other books in this shared universe, but I would suggest it.

Audio Review:
The only thing I knew about this book before diving into it was that it was a why choose, mafia romance, to which I said “SIGN ME UP!” No, but seriously, I love mafia romance and why choose so I knew that I had to check this book out. Add in that the audio is a duet narration and I was feral to get my hands on it.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book even if I wanted to shake Cora sometimes. Like I understand why she kept quiet but at the same time I found myself yelling at my phone multiple times as I was listening because I just wanted her to open her mouth and tell the guys what was going on. Now, the guys, I 100% adored each and every one of them for different reasons. I love how each of them were with her and that they protected her without coddling her.
The audio for this was phenomenal. As I’ve already said it’s duet narration and the narrators, Vanessa Moyes and Jacob Morgan, totally knocked it out of the park. Vanessa was totally believable as the Cora and really brought the character to life. Jacob as Alec, Miller, and Silver was just so damn good. He was able to differentiate between each of the characters so that I always knew which guy it was that was speaking. If you’re going to read this book and you enjoy audiobooks, then I totally recommend this audio as the way to go.

Such a good book

I feel like I read this story before, but it was a whirlwind, like her other books.
Just love Cora, and her 3 men, Alec, Silver, and Miller.

I definitely enjoyed this book the best in the series.
starts strong
And just keeps getting better. I thought June was living the dream but wow Cora actually was. Silver, Alec, and Miller are all such different men but they all want nothing more than to protect and love her. This whole book had me crying and screaming with joy and I had the biggest smile on my face most of the time I was reading it. The spicy scenes were off the charts spicy in the best ways possible. This is definitely a fave now

Listen, I liked it well enough. But for hearing it had 8 pages of trigger warnings, I was underwhelmed by the spice
