The epic conclusion to an incredible series. I love the action and the murder mystery of it. The chemistry between Rose and Dimitri just oozes from the pages and I love his moments of vulnerability. I do feel for Adrian and I'm glad his story continues in the Bloodlines series.
Well that was EPIC. What a ride, what an amazing finally ! Before starting this last book I had high hopes and it did not disappoint. I also really want to read the bloodline series now cause I feel there's still a lot to be figured out. 5/5

What a ride! Last Sacrifice was such a satisfying and gripping conclusion to one of the most addicting series I’ve ever read. Richelle Mead really knows how to keep readers hooked with her perfect mix of high-stakes drama, rich world-building, deep emotional bonds, and just the right amount of sass and action.
The only reason this isn’t a full 5 stars is because I was hoping for just a bit more intensity, especially considering it’s the final installment. But that’s honestly a minor complaint because this book still delivered so much—plot twists, character growth, meaningful resolutions, and emotional moments that hit me right in the heart.
What I adore about this series, and Last Sacrifice in particular, is how effortlessly it balances romance, friendship, political intrigue, and fantasy elements. The relationships in this book—whether romantic or platonic—are so well-developed and full of heart. I loved watching these characters navigate impossible choices, painful sacrifices, and moments of pure triumph.
Rose continues to be one of my favorite protagonists—fierce, loyal, flawed, and incredibly compelling. And the way the threads of this complex story came together was just chef's kiss. It gave me everything I wanted while still leaving me curious and excited to explore more from the world.
An absolute gem of a finale that left me emotionally full and completely satisfied. This series will always have a special place in my heart!
