INCREDIBLE CONCLUSION TO AN AWESOME SERIES!!! I am truly going to miss the Vampire Academy Series but I have to say the ending was amazing and shocking!!! I was beyond SHOCKED at who killed Tatiana. I never saw that coming....Lol... Definitely a surprise...... I am going to miss Rose, she is one of a kind. Her and Dimitri are wonderful together. I will definitely be reading more from Richelle Mead.......

This was a great wrap up to the series. While several threads were purposefully left dangling for the spinoff series, most other loose ends were nicely tied up.
I really enjoyed the way the author provided the background for the details we learned. Frequently details are thrown at the reader near the end of a series. This time the author took her time explaining it and laid it out for the reader (and main character) to discover.

I will have to read the new series because a few of the unanswered questions from this series will be addressed there.

Definitely my favorite book of the series. I want more.

can’t believe i didn’t finish this series at 14. i was denying myself amazing-ness. love a YA happy ending

This book was infuriating. I mostly enjoyed it but nearly as much as the others. So many problems could have been solved if Rose just got a cellphone! And there was no reason for her not to!

Additionally, Rose did Adrian so dirty. MY BOY DESERVES BETTER! All this talk about honor and doing the right thing just to cheat on him with Dimitri immediately after that conversation. They seriously couldn't have waited to have sex/get back together until she broke up with Adrian? That scene made me feel physically ill.

I know it was supposed to be a whole moment and all romantic with them being "made for each other" and whatnot, but it really just took me out of the story and I lost so much respect for both characters. Then have the audacity to ask Adrian for help in a dream after falling asleep with the man she cheated on him with?!?!? What the FUCK girl?

A nice young adult series.
But I do have one major problem which was not solved during all books: they only say that the problem is strigori are without souls. That the teacher and the daughter of Victor choose to kill innocents to become strigori is only a little discussed. That this may be worse and more traumatic that Dimitri killing while being soulless is not a topic.
