A cute follow up to Summer of 69. I know this was meant to be short and sweet but wish it was a bit longer to tell a little bit more how everyone is doing.

I loved this book! I loved everything about it. I loved 13 year old Jessie. I loved Blair, Kirby, Kate, Pick etc...I especially loved Exalta!
This book took me back to my summer of '69 with the music, ham sandwich with butter, riding your bike wherever you wanted and so much more. Well done, once again, Elin!!!

Summer of 69 accomplishes what it sets out to do -- give a picture of living through that whirlwind time as a girl / woman -- times, they were a-changing. I connected with every female character except the stodgy Nonny -- the sisters and their mom, Kate, were all well-crafted. They were also all spoiled, but I was able to put that aside, which is a huge accomplishment of the author. I don't usually identify with characters (or people!) who "summer" in Nantucket or the Vineyard.
Hildebrand's books are candy after the quinoa I was reading all week. Lots of fun, good memories of a time just before mine, and overall, a world I enjoyed being in.

I usually really enjoy Elain Hilderbrand’s books because of their ease and a good hook, but this one let me down. There weren’t any exciting twists or turns.

LOVED THIS BOOK! It's my first Elin Hilderbrand book I've read and I'll fallen in love with her writing. I loved how the book followed a few main characters in the same family who each had their own thing going on. I also enjoyed how it had a little bit of history in it. I can't wait to read another book by this author!

It would be a summer book list without another Elin Hildebrand adventure. Much like Malibu Rising, this book about siblings and family dynamics keep you guessing and rooting for a happily ever after. There’s a little something for everyone.

It seems I'm destined to love all of Elin Hilderbrands books. While Hotel Nantucket is still undoubtedly my favourite, I enjoyed this too! The vibes are amazing! The little things from the past woven though stories of life are to good. I don't know if I started out really liking any of the main characters, aside from Tiger, but they all grow on you.
