What a fun start to a new series. Quigley's amateur sleuth is sassy, smart, and one hot mess. She's got to solve the murder before it ruins her business before it even launches. And Butterball the cat makes the perfect pet sidekick.

I got through 2 chapters of this books before I figuratively threw it aside - returning it to Kindle Unlimited. Not going to waste my time.

A nice intro to a series, dragged down to average almost exclusively by one character and the actions around him: Carson. Not only a completely annoying character who keeps popping up, but one that the main character, Delilah, is far too permissive of. She's supposedly a top chef but doesn't act like it.
A small Wisconsin town, Delilah opening a pizza joint, mostly the usual cast of side characters and then the usual murder at her place. At least she's not a suspect. Also, the breakup that is usually before the first novel happens in this one.
