This was the first book I bought by Mila Gray and I've bought 2 other books. I've currently read Come Back To Me by her and it was also AMAZING. The way she writes about Marines and love is just magical.
Will is an ex-marine who has dreams but put them off to do the best things for his family. Luna is a famous singer who needs protection, so Will takes the job mainly for the money. Only everything changes when he sees the real Luna. He becomes her bodyguard due to threats she's been receiving. Now I started to guess who was sending those threats, but I didn't care that I knew because the book was beautifully writtten.

interesting… ok i’d say it’s more like 3.5 but! i read a review that made me realize that this literally was an insta love disguised as a slow burn?? what the. i mean the book was alright nothing special i don’t really have anything to say about the characters. only thing is that this author writes couples so weirdly. like they never properly hang out or talk all they do is make out?!?! this couple was a little better but whatever finally done this series
