I couldn't finish this book. I got about 40% into it until I just couldn't take it anymore. The premise is good, but the execution was really poor. It read very much like a fanfiction, and didn't seem elevated enough for the new adult audience it seemed to trying to be reaching. It was very much written to tell and not show, which is not great writing in my opinion.
Not my fave in the series but still good non the less.

I loved this book!! I loved the characters and how we got to see characters from past novels in the series. I love how they all intertwine. My heart was so happy yet so sad after finishing this book knowing there isn’t another one in the series (yet?)
