This book series is just one of my all time favourites. They are so easy to get lost in and make so much fun + also tear your heart out a bit. I especially loved the references in this back to Jessa and Kit's book which felt so bittersweet since it's been a few years since I read that one. I still remember how lost I got in their story and how many times I reread my favourite parts. Tbh I think it's stil my favourite in this series but I just love all of them in their own way.
I also listened to evermore while reading this and man, some songs just fit so perfect that it hurts. (Especially gold rush and `tis the damn season. (I don't want to talk about it.)
Honestly, it astonishes me that not more people have read this series but I will scream from the rooftops every damn chance I get how much I love it.

This was the first book I bought by Mila Gray and I've bought 2 other books. I've currently read Come Back To Me by her and it was also AMAZING. The way she writes about Marines and love is just magical.
Will is an ex-marine who has dreams but put them off to do the best things for his family. Luna is a famous singer who needs protection, so Will takes the job mainly for the money. Only everything changes when he sees the real Luna. He becomes her bodyguard due to threats she's been receiving. Now I started to guess who was sending those threats, but I didn't care that I knew because the book was beautifully writtten.

I’ve read all of mila grays books this one is probably my third favorite ? (1 - stay with me 2 - come back to me) I love the plot of famous girl and bodyguard ! And his relationship with her younger brother is cute. I guessed the person threatening her so I’d say it was a little predictable but overall it was a good quick love story.
I also love companion novels, getting to see where the people from the other books are in life was fun :)

This was so freakin good I have nothing bad to say about it at 2am when I finally finished it. Maybe my thoughts will change in the morning and I’ll have more details on why this book was so amazing and engaging the entire time and I absolutely loved it. Can Simon and shuster gift me the other books in this series please? I promise to rave about it on my social medias!
