I liked this and am interested to read the series! I just struggled to find the fantasy aspect of this and felt like it was a little too simple and boring. I will eventually start the series though! I feel like it was a good start to a series and left me a little interested to see what happens next.

A nice short story. Morrigan and Jafir are well suited to each other, and this lays the foundation for the Remnant and other series in a nice way. A quick easy read.
