This prequel novella introduces you to the world of the Remnant Chronicles. It follows the story of Morrighan and her clan. She and a male from another clan end up falling in love, she finds out who she really is, gets captured by the other clan, leads the clan to a new location and sets up the first book in the Remnant Chronicles. Its short and sweet and wasn’t a lot of fantasy but it did make me curious about how the names of cities came to be.

I have been wanting to read the Remanent series for awhile. I saw there was a prequel novella and decided to start there. I enjoyed the story of Morrighan and Jafir. I wanted more though which is often the case with Novellas. However, the story was wonderful and I am glad I read it.
