While I appreciated the writing style and some of the characters, there were certainly some plot holes, so overall the story didn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. The resolution in the end was ok, but things just weren’t explained thoroughly enough.

It was a fine book. I liked the authors first book much better. There were some parts that did keep me going because I wanted to understand why the fire and such.
I really wish there had been more time spent on why and how the family has pretty much clones of themselves. I thought it being a growth inducing chemical was unquie.  However I felt there was too much time spent on family drama when I would have loved more details of the clones and what not
some parts I was kinda bored when listening. I do feel the narrator did a great job though! Lots of well down voice acting from her.
