I Got AN ARC

I LOVE THIS STORY! I mean you can never go wrong with Lisa’s books though. This is Miller, and Sophie’s story. Miller is Tanner’s twin brother, aka the Nash’s long lost twin half siblings for context. I highly recommend reading all of the brothers books if you haven’t including Lincoln’s which technically isn’t apart of this series.

This story starts out with Sophie breaking up with her boyfriend. He then goes and posts on Sophie’s online student portal and gets her in trouble by promoting her romance novels to her students under her name. You see Sophie has been writing romance novels under a secret pen name for a few years, and they are not appropriate for students. This gets her suspended under investigation. Who does she call because she’s in trouble? Her best friend Miller Banks. You see they have been friends since high school, although Miller has been totally in love with her since the beginning. So despite the fact it is his 30th birthday, and his twin brothers about to propose he drops everything and catches the next flight to Arizona to see Sophie without a second thought.

Once he gets to Sophie, and they discuss things through he convinces Sophie to move to San Diego to make her career as a romance novel author a full time role. They use the cover story of Miller and Sophie are engaged to her mom. Miller’s thought process through it all is maybe I can convince her to give us an actual chance.

Throughout all of the up’s and downs, Sophie begins to gain feelings making Miller a happy person. We see the love between these two truly develop, the chemistry no shocker is electric. There is a lot of ups, and downs until they get there happy ending. Things are not all sunshine, and roses especially for a while where Miller starts to pull away from Sophie over some issues.

Anyway, 5 stars, highly recommend. I could read not only this book, but all of Lisa’s books over and over again, so I suggest checking this out, and any other of her books.

The final Nash brother gets his.

Miller, the youngest Nash/Banks brothers, is the star running back on The San Diego Storm football team. He takes off from a family event to help his best friend Sophie Summers when her life drastically goes sideways for her all because of her ex. Of course when they swing by her childhood home everything just snowballs into chaos for them both. Doesn't that always happen when loved ones get involved in one's life?

Boundaries get blurred, secrets come to life and everything spicy happens for a reason. Miller and Sophie's story is another fun ride in the expanded Vegas Aces world. Its also bittersweet as we leave the Nash brothers lives but I cannot wait for Spencer, Tanner and Miller's teammates lives to get explored.

This is the story of NFL running back MMC Miller and his high school best friend FMC Sophie.  Sophie is dealing with a lot.  Her terrible ex tried to ruin her teaching career and she called Miller to cry on his shoulder and he drops everything to come help her figure out this mess.  Miller invites Sophie to take a break from teaching, move in with him, and focus on her writing.  After Sophie tells her mom about her intent to move in with Miller, things get convoluted when her mom puts an engagement announcement in the local newspaper.  Due to Miller NFL notoriety, things get out of hand when the story goes viral on social media.  Now Sophie and Miller are attending social events together and engaging in some public kissing, to promote the relationship of course!  Soon we are in a friends with benefits situation where both Sophie and Miller are scared to tell one another that their feelings are real and always have been.  Despite their intense chemistry, they have to deal with a bump in the road, and family issues from Miller’s past cause him to unpack some serious emotional baggage.
