i had been in a reading slump for probably 7+ years until i randomly felt like reading again and picked up this book since it kept showing up on my social media literally everywhere!!!! so i finally decided to give it a chance and god did it take me out of this awful slump i’ve been in!

even though, at times, i felt like the spicy scenes were misplaced or just too much one after the other, i still think it had a good balance overall!! this is definitely a book for people who are somewhat kinky as it goes to some extremes at times but i did find it very enjoyable :)

i specially loved how all of the characters have some depth to them and have complicated and heavy themes surrounding them, making them more realistic, they were not simply for romance or as background add ons, they all genuinely felt like real and completed characters that had a motive!!!!

i picked up twisted hate as my first book from the series but i am super excited to read the other ones as well.

overall i had an excellent experience and this book was what got me back into reading, for as silly (or freaky) that is, i definitely recommend it if you’re into spicy romance!!!

Somehow worse than the first

Josh and Jules definitely get divorced after the end of the series

I hated literally everyone (Except Rhy, Stella, and Bridget) at some point in this book. Josh is just something else, and Jules's logic wasn't making any sense at times.

This is in no order and is just a rant:
I would give it a higher rating because I like Ana Huang as a whole but this book was just a no. Like that sex scene after Jules confessed everything was just mean. Like I get that your best friend and dad lied to you but how does that justify punishing someone who gathered a whole load of courage to tell you about her past life of theft and other thjngs. Like I hated him for that for the rest of the book. Like dear there are better ways you could’ve dealt with it. And why does it take damn Alex for him to open his damn eyes. The guy who doesn’t actually like her that much and doesn’t have that much of a moral compass. Secondly, why were he sulking so much about losing his friendship with Alex when he literally could’ve reached out to him at any point of time and worked towards building it again with him. Like be fucking for real. Acting like a damn child for half of it.
