These 5 stars are for Hannah Blumenreich's Spidey story and her story only. It is a flashback to a non eventful patrol until Spidey finds a dog. Sweet and charming.

As for the main volume itself...meh. I liked the reintroduction of Otto as the Superior Octopus and Norman Osborne's return. But the whole Parker Industries and all the worldwide intrigue. It just isn't my cup of tea. Again, I get Slott trying to expand upon Parker's universe but it just doesn't click for me as well as his earlier work.

The first part of this volume was great, but then the filler kinda ruins the vibe. With the exception of the Doc Ock story the filler was garbage.
