Definitely my least favourite Julia Quinn book. If the characters just talked, it would have been a much shorter story. Felt like the author wanted too much to happen.
they’re so cute and i love them sm, then he kidnapped her, that wasn’t so cute, but then they finally fucked, that was cute, then they got married, cute, and now they have kids, extremely cute.
my heart broke for torie sm times bc of everything she went through, from being treated like shit to being assaulted/attempted rape. i’m so happy she got her HEA

This guy was such a douchebag holy shit. Poor Torie just wanted to be a good girl and she got absolutely ruined by this man. He kidnaps her, stalks her, assaults her, and gets furious if she doesn't have sex every time she demands it. But it was a sappy little book to blow through and just another stop on my tour of Quinn's works. I just hope Ellie has a better time in the next one.
