What is the world like when AI takes over? This one week in the lives of an everyday family explores how technology impacts daily lives, the long term effects of climate change, how advertising rules society, and how a mother deals with all of these issues, her children, her household, and earning enough money to survive. This book gives a lot to think about

dark mysterious tense

Interesting.  Dystopian.  Curious.  Accurate and imaginative child dialogue.  The dark (inevitable) future of our society, environment, data control
I loved the writing and the themes- I felt like I was inside a Black Mirror episode… couldn’t stop.
