it was still a little flashback-based, but at least i got some motive out of it.
Spoileri'm interested in what happens when he gets buried where he was born!

I like this subplot of the artifact, but it's a lot of exposition for little gain. In the context of the previous story thus far, it doesn't add anything -- honestly everything up till this point could have been in half (or less) of the issues. In of itself, there isn't enough meat to justify the adding on of even more harebrained schemes (or protocols. Seriously. What even is this.).

This issue is finally really getting somewhere overall. However like with all issues, right as it's getting good it ends. The majority of the series has felt shallow yet the art is good & the parts set in his past are fun and that's what's keeping me going. Also, these are short and I can read them quickly.

Feels like a place holder issue where some background is filled in but little of import is actually accomplished or illuminated.
