Jeez when N.R. Walker decides to dish out angst she's not holding back. My heart was shredded for what Carter went through because of Isaac.
I may not get 100% were Isaac is coming from but I can up to a point understand since with no glasses or contacts I can't see anything but blobs -once I almost went to sit with the wrong family after a swim because I had no glasses or contacts on-. So when you have a supportive and encouraging parting that loves you as you are, thinking and telling you are perfect, never treating you differently because of your disability then lashing out with childish tantrums and hitting where you know it hurts the most, makes you a selfish asshole!
Carter may have forgiven Isaac and the book having a wonderful ending but Isaac is on my shit list.
Michael Pauley's narration: 4.5 stars of awesomeness.

This is the second book in the Blind Faith series and it was wonderful. This book is darker than the first but equally as well written. Issac and Carter are living together in Issac's house. Issac meets Josh at work and they begin to spend time together. Carter is jealous but has concerns that Josh is up to something. Issac and Carter fight when Issac tells him he's considering eye surgery in Argentina to restore his sight. Issac says unforgiveable things to Carter and tells him to get out. Carter goes to Issac's sister's house. He's devastated. He gets a message from Issac that says he's going away but when he comes back things will be different. Carter realizes that he's going to Argentina and rushes to stop him. The truth comes out. Issac is sad and apologetic. Carter tells him things have to change....they can't keep on as they are. We get to witness their growth. Carter is such a nurturer and no one needs it more than Issac.
