Good book. Good plot. V.I. can be a PIA but I like her.

I've read several of this author's mysteries and they are all good. Although part of a series, these each stand alone, but it's fun to see the same characters reappear in each of the books if you read multiple ones. 4/5 stars.

As always Sara Paretsky delivers a fast paced well thought out plot that kept me up half the night to finish it.

I thought VI got off to easy this time around, but it was a fun read. In terms of purely story it was tight and had strong characters, good and bad.

I love this book because it has Caroline in it. I don't know what it is, but I love Vic's little friend so much. (I say little but she's a grownup.)

This one was really good and the introduction of post-Washington Chicago politics and industry decline was much appreciated.
