I liked this one.. It was not my favorite by far. But it was still enjoyable. And as always, it was hilarious.
I loved Riley. She didn't take shit from anyone and I think that would be hard to do when you are a Raven in a pack of wolves but she totally rocks it. Tao honestly didn't do much for me.. I just read this book this morning and I already kind of forget him. I remember he was a dirty talker in bed and thats always awesome. But other than that... meeeeh.. Im literally shrugging my shoulders. That pretty much sums up how I feel about him.
I love this series. I love every single female character. I love all the men too but it's really the females that stand out to me. They are all strong and don't take any crap from anyone. Even the wolves that are submissive don't take crap. This is one of my favorite series of all time and whenever I am in a book slump I always pick one up.

Overall this was an ok read, but the drama just didn't do it for me. The bad guys, to me, made no sense and could've been a lot better.
The romance.... Was good but lacking.
My favorite parts were the fighting and reading about the kids in the pack.

Suzanne Wright at NetGalley? I almost piddled my pants! So imagine my surprise when I just didn't feel this book. I can't even pinpoint exactly why. It had a strong heroine full of sass. A dirty talking, tough male with a soft spot for his lady. It was all there! Maybe it's their connection. I didn't feel it until the very end. This was a mneh read for me.

I love Suzanne Wright's Phoenix and Mercury Pack series, and I've been reading them since the very beginning. I won't say that they keep getting better, but they do maintain a consistent level of awesomeness. There's always a well told romance, with all of the relationship drama included. Which makes me happy, because her relationships are always so well explained, thought out, etc.
Then, to top that off, there's ALSO ALWAYS a bigger conflict outside of the relationship taking place. I liked the conflict in Fierce Obsessions a lot, because there were quite a few elements to it and it was basically a mystery up until the end.
Last thing to gush over, I adore Savannah and Baxter. Really, I love all of the children Suzanne includes in these series, but Savannah and Baxter are the quirkiest.
