So, as much as I fucking LOVED the final third of the volume, the biggest issue I had with the volume is the story bits given in the first third. While I'm not angry or disappointed by what was revealed, it's kind of frustrating that it's taken Emma 8-9 volumes to get a chance to even HEAR from Minerva, only to be told there's been a path to the human world at Grace Field ALL ALONG. Now, I want to make it clear that I DO NOT resent the series for doing this, and the escape from Grace Field, the journey to the shelter, and this situation at Goldy Pond not only makes narrative sense, but is understandable given the information Emma and the others had at the time. HOWEVER, at the same time, I can't help but be a little annoyed that it's taken Emma this long to get to where she needed to be, only to be told, "yeah nope, gotta go back from where you came from, sorry!" Again, I don't necessarily hate this twist and I will same I'm SUPER RELIEVED knowing that the younger kids are still at the farm, ergo at least they're closest to the gate and Emma doesn't have to worry about getting them there.

I don't have a lot to say about the final third part outside of YEAH BITCH, WHAT FUCKIN' NOW?! Serves you right for being an obnoxious piece of shit, now your dead bro!

Final thoughts: Still love this series, super pumped about this battle, slightly annoyed at the info given to us, but I'm still enjoying the ride.
