This was a 3 for most of the book. I liked it fine and didn’t feel strongly either way about it. but I did really enjoy the ending, though I felt it quite predictable. and, of course, I teared up. because I tear up at all books apparently. so I bumped it to a 3.5.

The idea is great but it did not do it for me. I found it too repetitive and some chapters were really unnecessary. But overall the message was good.
