I really enjoyed the midnight library. I have read other reviews saying it was depressing and with the context of the story, the main character suffers with depression so element's of the story will be depressing. However, I enjoyed going on her journey as she explored her different lives and the lessons she learns throughout. I also enjoyed the message of the book. The theme was very unrealistic and fantasy based but the message is one that can be applied to everyone's lives. 
Solid 4* for me. :)
