This was really good.  A solid poetry collection.  Definitely a recommended read.

Wow wow wow. This pocket pick packs a punch. There were so many poems/pages that I just sat with and reread multiple times. This is a book I can’t wait to gift students.

“There is magic in a blank page /
The way it promises me a future /
Even if only for the next five minutes. /
I can start here /
And /
End anywhere /
I can be anyone /
Including the person /
I already am”

This is the best book from the Pocket Change Collective in my opinion, after reading all 10. It packs a major punch in just 96 pages. The free verse is absolutely beautiful.

Short and sweet. Some of these poems are so poignant.

I loved this. Amyra Leon's writing is phenomenal, and although I may not be the target audience for this book, it still managed to impact me. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes poetry (even a little)!
