I want to give it a higher rating but there were so many typos, I found it hard to keep focused.

I was really excited to read this one, and while there were some good concepts the phrasing was extremely repetitive.

The book offers great advice on self-improvement, but many of its explanations border on pseudoscience. 3 stars.

I’m so conflicted.

On one hand, things in the book on high level make a lot of sense. The key idea is: fulfill your basic needs, self regulate, then interact with the world. This is similar to what therapy will teach so it’s good there’s a book with a bit of a shortcut. “Only once you feel safe and securely connected to who you are - body, mind, and soul - will you be able to build authentic connections with others and break the cycles that keep you in your past…”

At the same time, the “scientifically backed” facts in the book are at times questionable which reduces trust to the author (im looking at you, “bluetooth and WiFi have adverse effects on brain” which has no clear evidence as of today). I felt the need to research something for critically acclaimed research via Perplexity for example to confirm some facts.
Overall if you’re lucky enough to have similar problems as the author, you’ll gain a lot more than a person with different environment and (family) history.
