The Cleo/Magnus dynamic continues to build beautifully and be one of the best I have encountered. Jonas, Nic, and the rebels managed to get more interesting due to the better integration in the story. The politics are very engaging as well. However, the main Watchers/Kindreds storyline continues to be weak and cumbersome and Lucia is still annoying, boring, arrogant but in the end incredibly naive character with whom we sadly spend too much individual time.
