Wow

This book was good. Lots of twists and romance. Great job to the author for creating such suspense in a classy way.

While reading Tease me Once I made a mental shopping list…things I added: sturdier coffee table, wine (wonder what brand Declan likes
dark fast-paced

Heck yes! This is what I am talking about. This is one steamy bdsm based romance. Declan is a dark and moody crime boss and Braelynn is the perfect balance of sub and feisty heroine. I loved every page of this book except the cliffhanger ending. That ending, i wasnt so keen on! I need all the answers right now.

This is a great start to the Shame on You series which is Declan Cross's story (I am new to the Merciless world- but if the brothers are as brilliantly written as Declan I will definitely be reading the rest of the interconnected books). The characters are dark and compelling and the dominance and dirty talking is on point. The whole setting of the The Club is mysterious and hints at underhanded dealings in crime and desire. Braelynn doesn't really fit into this world but her determination to better her life and make a home keeps her motivated. Then Declan offers her an alternative. A choice she is happy to explore with him. These two have captivating chemistry and they burn up the pages with their attraction.

Uhm this rating might be even too high. I didn’t feel connected to the characters because we skipped important quality time stuff and when the spice finally came, we skipped all the good parts too. So I don’t know how to connect with them. But I just want the mystery out of the way, so I’ll be reading book 2. If it doesn’t get better I won’t be finishing the series.

The way this ends is diabolical. I was in my car, flabbergasted.

The first half of the book was typical and serviceable, but the second half was actually engaging. A quick read with high tension.

This is ends on a cliffhanger. A short story of domination and betrayal, with a mystery element that goes unresolved. The spice is spicing.
