I have seen W Winters all over my tik tok so I figured I would check out a book and I didn't realize this was a trilogy so imagine my shock when the book had a cliffhanger...I am a bit confused by the beginning how it jumps ahead and then sometimes the positions didn't make sense to me, but over all they burn hot and fast and I have already started the next one as I need more answers!

Good but needs more and to be more consistent with some things. Some things didn’t make sense and others changed depending on the view which I thought was a little odd but it was a good read over all. Still gonna finish this series cause I wanna know what happens.

Holy Cow! Way to keep you on the edge every page turn. Declan and Braelynn are such opposites that the sexual tension between them is fire! The mafia aspect of it is so intriguing that I almost wanted more of it. I can’t wait to read the rest of the story and to finish that cliffhanger!

Ffs I'm having the worst luck with books lately. This is just... Laughably bad.
The book was okay for the first half, but I just cannot stand the whole BDSM stuff when they start humiliating their partner and continuing even though they have clearly expressed their dissatisfaction and contempt. Specially when the submissive partner is still healing from an abusice relationship, and this is not taken into consideration whatsoever in their play.
Who doesn’t love a villain who is soft towards his girl? Literally the first sentence of the prologue will have you hooked and ready for more. Declan someone manages to be a possessive alpha while still showing us his soft side for Braelynn. It’s not a super soft side but enough to show he cares while still being his domineering self. Seeing the real Brealynn emerge from her shell was great. I loved the chemistry between the characters. This book was hot, steamy, and every synonym you can think of. I can’t wait for more. This is a duet so there is a cliff hanger!
