This was my first Willow Winters book and I’m hooked!! This book reads sooo easy and fast, I absolutely loved it!!
It’s a long time ago that I was really into a romance book and that I forgot that I was reading. I was intrigued, invested and really shocked at the end.
I love how Declan has the “touch her and you will (literally) die” vibe but has a soft spot for Braelynn but just doesn’t want to admit it 🙈 and the spice in this one is immaculate and really hot 🥵
I really want to read book 2 ASAP. I was sad it was over and I can’t wait to read more about Declan & Braelynn and the world she got dragged into because she has a soft spot for the bad guy.

Wow what an ending. What a cliff hanger! Some parts of me love this story to bits, I love the BDSM + alpha male tropes and other parts of me HATE how quickly Braelynn is quick to say 'yes Declan'. But that tiny piece of disghust and unease is what makes this such a good plot. I'm really looking forward to reading book 2 and seeing how Braelynn will come out of all this.
Also how did the Prologue tie in? That part still confuses me.

Hot damn, this book was hot!
This was my first time reading something from Ms. Winters and it will not be the last. I would say that Tease Me Once is dark erotica romance. Sprinkled with little bit of plot. Little bit. It's very quick, kinky and intense read. Mind you, it has a bombshell cliffy! 👀
We follow 2 povs: Declan and Braelynn.
As I understand, Declan (the youngest of Cross brothers in the crime family) occurred first in Merciless series and fans have been waiting for his story to be told.
Braelan (yes, I gave them ship name lol) knew each other when they were kids and now Braelynn is working in Declan's exclusive gentlemen's club as a waitress. Someone in the club is informant and Cross brothers needs to find out who it is. And our sweet Braelynn is so curious to the point that it's questionable.
Declan is very dominant, commanding and ruthless where's Beylann is soft, sweet and in the beginning - naive. They have great chemistry together and openness, that is rare in these sort of 'relationships'.
My major issue is that I still wanted to have more depth and background to both of them. Yes yes, erotica and all. But the whole setup was good and if author would have utilised it, this would have a higher rating.
Thank you to Willow Winters, for providing an eARC in exchange for an honest review! All thoughts are my own and left voluntarily.

Thank you so much to the author for the copy of this book for an honest review.
I adored Declan and Braelynn. Their chemistry was simply off the charts and so so intense!!
I binged this in a couple of hours and will not be getting over it any time soon, especially after that untimely cliffhanger.

Braelynn, the girl looking for a new start from her old life. Declan, the boy she used to know turned man who spends his time lurking in the darkness. W. Winters extended her Merciless World series with this first series in a trilogy about Declan, Braelynn, and their complex dom-sub, boss-employee relationship. This one is full of spice, angst, and mafia dramatics. It ends on a cliffhanger, so be ready to immediately reach for book 2 when you finish!

Forever I have been patiently waiting to discover more about Declan. This is book 1 and it was a great start. There has always been something mysterious about him. Love that slowly we learn more about the Cross Brothers!
While reading Tease me Once I made a mental shopping list…things I added: sturdier coffee table, wine (wonder what brand Declan likes
I received an ARC for my honest review of Tease Me Once.
Declan Cross is one to not be messed with, any of the Cross brothers for that matter! They’re a ruthless mafia enigma that don’t hand out chances. Braelynn has found herself on hard times due to an ex situation, and she’s running from him constantly. An angel of a best friend, Scarlett, helps Braelynn get back on her feet with a new job as a waitress. However, it’s not at an average restaurant or diner joint. The new job is at this high end club where the money is moved and the mouths are hushed. It’s going well, until she meets a face from her past —Declan Cross.
The ups, the downs, the backstabbing, the drama. Not in a bad way, this book serves some drama that had me turning the page and ignoring what time was clicking on the clock. In a short span of 5 hours I had turned all of the pages. The cliffhanger was astounding and actually caught me off guard. I sat in disbelief because I NEEDED more. I need to know what happens next because that scene had ME concerned and I wasn’t even the MC!
My only reservation from a 5-star was that a particular BDSM Dom scene didn’t happen as appropriately as I felt. There’s trauma for Braelynn and he handled the needed comfort and care poorly. I felt that the scene should have ended, safe word or no, because her constitution was no longer in tact and she was having a PTSD response. Scenes should always be safe and her well-being should be a priority. That would be the only thing I wished was changed. There’s a makeup and better communication comes, but that particular moment had placed a doubt in me.
I’m not too well-versed in mafia romances, but this was a great pool to dip my toe in and I can’t wait to read more regarding Declan and Braelynn!
