Let's just start with the end, shall we?!?!? I knew this would end in a cliffhanger. It's classic Willow so it's a given. But that ending!?!?!!? I feel like I was punched in the face with my mouth hanging open. That's the kind of book hangover I have right now. Braelynn and Declan... complicated, mysterious, riddled with history. There's instant attraction and explosive chemistry and a whole lot of steam! There are very few authors, like count on ONE hand few, who can write cliffhanger books that I will read. Willow is one of them. She knows how to hook you, string you along, and keep you coming back for more. I need more...now.

This book is sexy and dangerous. Declan Cross has power and possessiveness radiating from him. This was my 1st experience with the Merciless world and it will not be my last.
I loved the dual POV. With Declan being so reserved with the outside world it was nice to get a better understanding of him.
Braelynn's new found independence is something I can relate to. Leaving difficult relationships is always hard, but even harder when that relationship has broken your spirit.
The tension to builds between Declan and Braelynn is suffocating for them both. They struggle to accept what's forming between them. The danger surrounding The Club makes you want to scream at Braelynn to run, while also telling her to enjoy the thrill.
The cliffhanger has me dreading the wait for book 2.

I've been wanting to read Willow Winters' books for so long, and I finally did with TEASE ME ONCE! It was my introduction into the Merciless World, and now I want to read all of the books! My expectations were met with this book.
Declan Cross is a brutal storm, unforgiving and reckless.
Braelynn arrives at her new job eager to start over and escape her scarring past. When she encounters her boss, Declan Cross, memories from the past resurface, and sparks and attraction start to flourish.
The possessiveness that Declan feels over Braelynn had me swooning and heart racing! At the same time, I loved how Declan always wanted an open communication from Braelynn. It was the cutest thing, especially coming from a man like him.
"I'm not a good man, but I'll do what I can to be good to you."
This book is dark, kinky, quick, highly entertaining, and exhilarating! I was passing the pages so fast wanting to keep reading more. That ending gave me whiplash and I cannot wait until I read the sequel!
