night and day difference between the 1930s and 1959 version of the book. nancy drew knows how to handle a revolver apparently?

Not exactly a 1:1 ratio of bungalow to mystery, but the goofy character names make up for that fact.

This book was a super easy read, it would be a 5 star but I’m not sure if i can get used to the writing style. It’s an older book obviously, so it’s written different from book now a days.

I loved reading this and I’m not usually someone who reads mysteries, I like romance. But I couldn’t put this book down. I loved putting 2 and 2 together and figuring out the case before the book ended!

Highly recommend if you just need a fast paced book, while you’re waiting for your next book to come or in my case for your library in town to open!

This mystery was super predictable and I had the whole thing figured out right away, which was really disappointing. I also did not like Laura, so I wasn’t as invested in Nancy Drew solving this one. With so many books in this series there’s going to be a couple of duds and I look forward to seeing improvement in future books.
