I won't give a synopsis because others have done it better than I could. I will say that I enjoyed this book a lot. It's different than anything else I've read recently. The characters are wonderfully developed and nothing is quite as it seems. It was a little slow starting out for me, but I'm not sure if it was the book or the mood I was in - so I'm not subtracting any stars for that. It definitely could have been me. However, if it seems a little slow, I'd recommend sticking with it. It's definitely worth the time and once it had my attention, I hated putting it down. I can't wait to read the next book in the series. I've found a new author to watch.
