I actually very much enjoyed this book. Just when the miss communication trope rears its ugly head, it’s squashed. It doesn’t over take the entire book. The diff levels of heart ache and trauma were so good. Loved the premise and it’s was a great read. Can’t wait to continue the series.

Sometimes people sneak up on you and suddenly you don’t know how you ever lived without them. How you went about your day and hung out with your friends and f****d other people without having this one important person in your life.

I just read this again for the second time and I loved it just as much as the first time.
Garrett starts out as a total douchebag, but he's oh-so-swoonworthy.
BMOC, Hockey Star, Ladies Man... the works. He's a good guy though and that shines through right from the start.

Hannah is awesome. She's been through a lot and is just amazing. She's super relatable, funny and just really awesome.

I loved this book right from the start and devoured it again in one sitting. Hannah and Garrett are just the best.

this definitely isn’t my favorite romance i’ve read, but i did really enjoy it! i’m a sucker for the guys who fall first and fall harder, and bonus points if they’re sweet and cutesy with the girl. Garrett was just so perfect, i loved him so so much. this book was also a rare instance where a 3rd act break up was done really well. there was no stupid miscommunication, and i loved the way Garrett continued to fight for her without being obnoxious in his efforts. the book did feel a little boring at times and some of the language was pretty cringe, but overall it was a sweet story and an easy read
