This book did have some very interesting sexy elements but I feel like the plot was a little thin and rushed. There were also repetitive thoughts between the two main characters about how they want to be together but can’t/shouldn’t be, I rolled my eyes to myself at one point because it got fairly redundant. I was hoping for more character development and insight but for me it barely scraped the surface. I also had a lot of spelling and grammar errors in my copy which threw me off.

I was surprised how much I liked this. The world building was good, but the focus was the romance. It wasn’t quite the smut filled book I was led to believe, but there was plenty of smut. Some of it is during public “parties.” I would call this lighthearted because, while the content wasn’t cheerful, the book didn’t bring me down. I didn’t think it was dark.

I didn't hate it but also didn't love it. Hermes is definitely a winner. The world building was confusing like there's references clearly implying this is our world with social media, phones and Cheetos but where is Olympus? What is Olympus? I guess I just needed focus on what this book is actually about :p
