this was an easy read and quite enjoyable. I picked this up to try out after reading a book that was 1.5. this gave me everything that I love in a fantasy romance series. it’s action packed, easy to read and understand, a intresting world, amazing characters and a romance. I eat this book up and I can’t wait to continue with the next book.
I did really enjoy this book, especially the last 20% or so. However, there wasn't really anything original in this book and there was a lot of meandering around the middle section. I think this series has a ton of potential if it can find itself. Interested to see where book 2 goes!
