I honestly didn't like Graham and was irked by how Juliet was portrayed. It made me wonder if the author utilized any sensitivity readers from the Latinx community. And the fact this book is over 500 pages with really long chapters felt unnecessary to me.

So good!
I picked up this read on a whim — I'm so glad I did! The characters are dynamic, the plot and prose are *chefs kiss*. Can't wait to read the rest of this author's catalog!

Good banter, good side characters, and an office romance that's a little different than usual. He was a pig in the beginning, but I adored him in the end. She was a compelling FMC, very strong the whole way through. The grovel was non-existent, but these two understood each other so well it was like they didn't need it? Kind of iffy on whether or not I accept that, but they were cute together and their families and friends meshed well (shrug). Didn't like the baiting for reading the first book/wanting us to read the first book's sequel that isn't even out yet. It alludes to something horrible happening to a couple that had already gotten their HEA supposedly, and idk if I'm invested enough to read it. I do want to read Marco's book though.
