💄 thoughts:
ummmm what did I just read? This is weird girl litfic and it's not for me haha. This is a fairly short audiobook and I still took quite awhile to finish it! It was so repetitive that I could only listen to like an hour max at a time. That was definitely the point of the writing style... but for me it didn't build suspense, just made me annoyed. The epilogue didn't really make this clever to me, I kinda figured it would continue to be nutty lol. Maybe if you like Ottessa Moshfegh and other sad girl litfic this could be your cup of tea :)
