This book was just as good reading it as an adult. I full on sobbed just like I remember doing in middle school. This story is so strong and beautiful. I already want to reread.

Reading this while a family member has cancer isn’t the vibe

This book is so sad yet so powerful. The writing style is amazing, the commentary is fantastic, and the whole book was so much fun to read.

You know that meme from Anchorman: "I'm in a glass case of emotion!"

That was me after reading this book (both times) - and continues to be the image I see in my head every time I think about it all these years later. It destroyed me and brought me back and destroyed me again.
