I won't write a lot as it is a book you need to go in blind to, to fully enjoy.

The play really only starts about 100 pages in and it is a mass of story beats from there. The main character Noa starts off as an arsehole and you will be amazed that anyone likes him. This being side does have very good character development  as he is a redeemable character by the end of the book.

If you like stories that feel like multiple stories with the same characters in one book...
If you like sci-fi stories where something's not quite right, but you're not sure exactly what...
If you like gay romance combined with mindfucks, the most irritating AI you'll ever meet, and figuring out how to send a big 'ol middle finger to The System...
You'll enjoy A Complicated Love Story Set in Space.

An interesting read. The main characters are interesting and I loved seeing them change through the book.
The ending is a bit ambiguous which is ok since it allows you to form your own ideas about what will happen next
