My rating – Three and half  Stars
I like the book, and I enjoyed parts of book also I think people who like perfect deke by Ruth Stilling or Rinkmates by Nova Banks may like is book. The cover of book was stunning and my copy of the book come with sprayed pages, they were beautiful. The writing was okay but not great, but the writing was easy to follow also the ending was fine, but it felt bit rush. The fake dating was okay, and the atmosphere was okay but bit bland also then was some harmful stereotypes about black people.

The romance was okay but definitely needed to be flash out bit more and I think author did okay job describing the negative effects of being famous or be in the spotlight on a person also the character cameos was nice touch. I didn't like how Elias celibate was handled. The paced of plot was well structured and steady paced but the ending of the book felt rush. The characters were okay, but I think they need to flash out bit more. Elias was okay main character, and I think he good boyfriend, but he could more flash out. I try to like Sage but found I found her annoying and immature.

Hockey x ballerina romance

This story follows Sage who is a ballerina who is try to land any ballet job but mostly a lead role. And Eli who is a professional hockey player who is trying to get his first NHL goal and trying to stop the media from labeling him as a play boy.

Sage blew me away with how resilient and funny she was. I loved how she was very blunt and unfiltered. I laughed so many times throughout the book with the things that she said. She is probably my favorite fmc I’ve read in a romance book.

Eli had me fall head over heels from the very beginning. He was very thoughtful and caring no matter the situation and paid attention to the little things.

I never skip an epilogue and this one was so heart warming and I loved then story coming to an end the way that it did. Made me tear up a bit with Nina!

Overall it was an amazing story with great character development and banter and spice.
