This seems to be a really interesting collection of short stories, focused on South Asian folklore and supernatural elements. Some of the stories relate to each other, being told from different perspectives in this family and some of their connections. I struggled to follow the connections. This book definitely fell victim to my personal struggles with short stories, but what I comprehended of it seemed very smart, and intriguing.

A little bit monster of the week, in that each story has its own supernatural elements from various backgrounds, and you're putting together clues to determine what it is.
