Adolescent misogyny

Homage or rip off from mad max? Not much depth but an easy pulp time killer. Found the objectification irritating and nearly ditched it several times which would have saved some wasted time.
Finished it through some stubborn morbid fascination and won't be reading any sequels

This book has a slow build up and then like a guy fresh off deployment a quick ending. With that said, the story in this book is quite solid and worth the ride. It's like a twist off of mad maxx. It has almost the exact same build up and everything. End of the world. Stuff happens. Loses, family, on the road to kill the people that took them. Also drives a off the hook super car. Can shoot everything dead. But there's a twist. Unlike mad max, there are also fantastical creates romaing the land. Some of them bad, some of them not as bad as others. Either way, it's a fun read. Not going to be in the movies....ever. But still a pretty damn good book.
