Okay but tried to marry category romance ridiculousness (lots of princes, blackmailed into a fake relationship, heroine and hero with the common sense of baby ocelots, etc.) with realism (heroine is in recovery from a serious and fairly graphically described eating disorder). They don’t really work together and the end result is to make the hero’s I-will-insult-you-to-keep-you-safe soliloquy absolutely unacceptable. There is no coming back from those words.
