I loved this even more than the handmaids tale. It filled a lot of gaps in the story and the last 250 pages I read without pause for hours and finished it at 3 am. It was that good, could not put it down. I really enjoyed the interview part with Margaret Atwood at the end were she showed the articles that inspired the universe and story. Overall recommend to everyone!!!

It's good if you consider it an independent book. It reads a little like a YA book set in Gilead, not as the successor to the Handmaid's tale.
